While you are here, you should also check out the breathtaking 14,000 sq. ft. garden that is transformed by a team of 140 horticulturists. 3.Venice at the Venetian

9.Photo-ops Galore for the Gram-

Located in the MGM Grand Hotel Casino, all you have to do is just  pick up your free tickets in front of the research center or at the entrance to the parking garage.

12.Harrah’s Piano Bar

There are Elvis impersonators, but none quite like BIG ELVIS found at Harrah’s Piano Bar. This is the longest running Elvis tribute show in Las Vegas and is free but there is a 2 drink minimum at the bar. You can also enjoy Karaoke, interactive shows, and dueling pianos. 15.Hoover Dam

Just a half hour’s drive from the Las Vegas Strip is one of the Man Made Wonders of the World, the Hoover Dam. Escape the desert heat and cool off with a free tour at Banger Brewing in downtown Las Vegas.The craft beer at this local microbrewery is delicious and doesn’t disappoint. Tours are free but are limited to persons ages 21+ and 6 people per tour. Be sure to reserve your tour in advance.

19.Anderson Dairy

Anderson Dairy is a great option if you are looking for things to do with kids. Visitors can enjoy a barnyard tour of a dairy processing plant. The animatronic animals and farm scenery teach kids and adults the history of Las Vegas dairy farming. Advance scheduling is required for the free tours.

20.Red Rock Canyon

A half hour drive from the Las Vegas Strip gets you to Red Rock Canyon. Enjoy the beauty of the incredible desert colors and panoramic views unique to the area. Take a hike along one (or more) of the 26 marked hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty to suit your ability.

21.Chocolate Paradise- 3 options to get your chocolate fix.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a free visit to M&M’s World or Hershey’s Chocolate World on the Strip or venture out about a half hour to Henderson, Nevada to visit the famous Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden.

22.Pinball Hall of Fame

Be a pinball wizard at the Pinball Hall of Fame. This museum displays the world’s largest pinball collection open to the public. Find your favorite pinball machines from the 1950’s to the 1990’s. Reminisce youthful days spent in the arcade and play. There is no cover for the museum itself, but fees to play the machines range from .25 – $1 per game.

23.Carroll Shelby Museum and Factory

The Carroll Shelby museum at the Heritage Center at Shelby America should be on every car enthusiasts list of things to do. The museum is packed with a legendary collection of performance vehicles that is sure to get your blood pumping. Tours to the museum and production facility are free.
